I was born and raised here in Humboldt County and returned home in 2017 after some time away. I am a social worker who is passionate about infant and early childhood mental health and development, and I work hard to ensure all families and children are able to access the services and support they need in order to be successful.
I am continuously amazed by this community and the quality of the resources we have to offer. I joined the board at CASA because I want to give back to an organization that gives so much to the vulnerable children and families in our community. I am currently in my first term as a board member.
In my free time, I love to travel and discover new places with my husband, or spend time relaxing at home with our two cats.

I moved to Humboldt County with my husband and son in 2003 to be close to family. I instantly fell in love with the community. I’ve been a full-time Realtor since 1999. I recently opened my own Real Estate Brokerage – Trillium Realty Group in 2020.
I love Humboldt County and have a heart for serving this community. My first experience with CASA was serving as an advocate for 4 years where I completed 3 cases. I’ve seen first-hand, the work advocates do and the need for this organization. I’ve also enjoyed raising funds for the CASA Kidwalk and SuperKid Season with my “Team Trillium” for several years. I love getting my friends to help my team and in turn they get a better understanding of what CASA is all about. CASA of Humboldt does amazing work in our community. I am honored to serve in a new capacity on the board.
I’m married to the love of my life Richard and am lucky to have my family all living close by. In my free time I love to read, throw theme parties and take my dog to the beach.

Born and raised in Humboldt County, I have seen first-hand how generous and dedicated our community is to local nonprofits. While attending Humboldt State University in 2008, I worked at a coffee chain that had a CASA Kids Walk fundraising team. In 2015, I started a CASA fundraising team at the Humboldt County Office of Education. After 15 years of fundraising for CASA, I joined the CASA Board of Directors! I am excited to be supporting CASA in this new role and look forward to expanding my knowledge of this organization and the many ways it benefits foster youth and their families in our community.
My work history has primarily been in the education sector. Nine years ago, I started at the HCOE as an entry level Library Clerk and have worked my way up to Lead Library Systems Tech. Libraries were always a safe space for me growing up and I love that now, I get to promote the importance of imagination, empathy, and creating a safe space for other children and teachers in our community.
In my free time I love to laugh with my family and friends, spend time with my godson Mateo, travel, sing, bake, and attend live concerts/musicals.

I grew up just over the Trinity county line and got to experience living in a very rural community that's most well known for being Bigfoot territory. Growing up on the Trinity River, my five siblings and I were always playing outside and spent a lot of time with our cousins and grandparents.
When my husband and I got married, we settled down in the house that I had grew up in and became more active community members in not only the Willow Creek community, but also the Hoopa community.
During my time with Coast Central Credit Union, I really learned what community involvement means and how important it is to serve the underserved. After spending six years with Coast Central, I made the decision to stay home with my children while they are little. Being a mom is the hardest I've done but also the most important thing.
I am looking forward to serving CASA in anyway I can and bringing more awareness to our rural river communities.

I moved to Humboldt County in 2019 from Ventura County. My husband and I immediately fell in love with the beautiful Redwoods and rugged coast. We have been overjoyed by the warmth and kindness of the people in our new community, that we now call home.
Prior to moving to Humboldt, I was working as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), loving the work, though enduring a 3 to 4 hour daily commute. Since moving to Humboldt, I have been incredibly fortunate to open the North Coast Nurture Center, a small community clinic that focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of very young children with neurodevelopmental disorders, such as autism, and co-occurring conditions (e.g., anxiety, trauma). I work with a team of talented clinicians and support staff. I find everyday rewarding, as we dedicate our work to improving the lives of children and families.
I am honored to serve on the Board of CASA, as the aim of CASA aligns perfectly with my desire to make a difference in our community.
When not working, you can find me hiking the beautiful trails of Humboldt along with my husband, Tom and our two goldendoodles, Scout and Piper.

I was born and raised in Humboldt County, a graduate from both McKinleyville High School and College of the Redwoods. My family has lived in the county for four generations and my husband’s family has been here for five. This place is my home, and I am thrilled to contribute to this organization that loves it as much as I do.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and I currently work as Treasurer for Coast Central Credit Union. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to apply my skills in service to such a wonderful organization.
My husband, Zech, and I love to spend time with family and friends, often hosting get togethers and going out on camping adventures.
