Application Process

  • Do you want to work directly with a child in need?
  • Do you have 2 or more hours a week to share and can make a commitment of at least a year to working with a child?
  • Can you pass a criminal background check and DMV check?

If you answered "Yes" to these questions, then we invite you to begin the process of becoming a CASA advocate.

Please fill out the form below, which will be submitted directly to the Outreach Coordinator. The coordinator will answer any questions you might have as well as sending you the application form. Or, you can download the application form.

Once you have completed the application including contact information for four references, return it to the volunteer coordinator at CASA, 2356 Myrtle Avenue, Eureka, CA 95501, and schedule an interview. After you have been interviewed, you will begin the screening process. The volunteer coordinator will also inform you regarding CASA's next training.

If you would like information about volunteer opportunities other than becoming an advocate, please visit the Other Opportunities portion of our web page.
