CASA Welcomes New Case Supervisor

CASA of Humboldt is pleased to welcome our new Case Supervisor, Erika Benson.

"I am very excited and honored to join the CASA team as a Case Supervisor. I grew up in Humboldt County and moved in Santa Cruz in 1997 to pursue a college education. In 2001 I graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a BA in Sociology and Women’s Studies. I fell in love with CASA about four years ago in Santa Cruz when I became an advocate. It was then that I truly realized the power, passion and strength of volunteers within our communities.

I relocated back to Humboldt County in May, and I have never made a wiser decision! I am continually amazed at the positive and compassionate people of this community. I look forward to meeting all of you soon!" said Erika.

There are other changes for CASA of Humboldt as well... June Dupré is leaving us to move closer to her family in Santa Barbara, California. We will miss you June!
