The employees of Tomas Jewelers choose CASA

For the third year in a row, the employees of Arcata’s Tomas Jewelers selected CASA of Humboldt (Court Appointed Special Advocate) to be the beneficiary of their holiday good will. A donation made by the owner of Tomas, Tom Perrett for $1750.00 will help the organization to further their efforts to advocate for Humboldt County’s abused and neglected children.

“We selected CASA for its continued efforts with abused children in the court system,” wrote Perrett. “The legal and emotional support offered by CASA is of great importance to these children. We would like to commend CASA for its efforts and make the donation in the spirit of giving.”
Each year, during the holiday season, Tomas Jewelry makes generous contributions to local non-profit organizations. “The employees of Tomas Jewelry nominate organizations in our community that we wish to recognize for the outstanding work they do,” wrote Perrett. “(We wish) to help those organizations that work so hard year-round to make the North Coast a better place.
Tomas Jewelry is a third-year Sponsor in CASA of Humboldt’s business partner program and has increased their level of participation every year.
