Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Meetings 12-1pm CASA Office
IEP teams evaluate the results of all assessments of a child and determine if the child has a qualifying disability that is impacting their school success. If the IEP team determines that a qualifying child has unmet needs as a result of the disability, they must develop an IEP plan. This IEP plan becomes a legal contract outlining the educational services the child will receive. Laura Madjedi will describe the IEP process and what advocates can expect, as well as discuss how advocates can become a part of the IEP meetings.
