This one day training is designed for profressionals who: provide treatment for children;come into contact with children during or after trauma; work with family members of children suffering from traumatic grief.

Participants will learn how to:
*Outline characteristics of traumatic grief in children
*Define the differences between adult and child grief
*Describe the neurobiological impact of traumatic grief on young children
*Identify the environmental support that children need to heal
*Describe effective treatment strategies and a group treatment model
