Women in Treatment

This workshop addressed women's issues in recovery. A woman who takes care of her family, friends, and buisness may not know how to take care of herself. Many women struggle with caring for their children while maintaining their recovery. Studies have found clear differences in the prevalence of depression, anxiety disorders, and eating disorders between women and men, and research is investigating why these gender differences exist. Presented by Cathrine Ciampa, MFT.
